A Wi-Fi QR code encodes your network's name (SSID), password, and encryption type into a single scannable image. When a guest scans it with their phone camera, the device offers to join the network automatically, no typing required.
The QR follows the standard Wi-Fi network configuration format used by iOS and Android. Everything is generated locally in your browser, so the network details never leave your device.
Type the exact name of your Wi-Fi network as it appears in the list of available networks.
Type the network password. For an open network with no password, leave this empty and pick None as the encryption type.
WPA, WPA2 (most home routers), WEP (older), or None. If you are not sure, WPA/WPA2 is the safe default.
